Michigan Hockey League, L.L.C.
The Michigan Hockey League, L.L.C. will begin practice and play in October 2017. The MHL is based in Michigan. Home offices are located in Grosse Pointe as well as Bay Harbor, Michigan. Teams will be located only in the state of Michigan.
Players between the ages of sixteen and twenty-two will be recruited from North America and Europe. The goal of the MHL is to give players an opportunity to further their hockey careers while still attending school and holding jobs. The season will begin in September and wrap up in April with the playoffs. An All-Star game is to be played at midseason.
The Michigan Hockey League will be a developmental league for the NCAA, NHL, and other various professional leagues worldwide. The Michigan Hockey League will assist all eligible players in placing them with different college teams.
The intentions of the MHL are to start play in 2017 consisting of FOUR TEAMS in Michigan.
The Michigan Hockey League is a pay-to-play Junior Elite league. The MHL will charge its players an annual registration fee. Because teams will only be located in the state of Michigan, overnight stays will rarely be needed. However, if overnight stays are needed, the Michigan Hockey League will cover all costs.
The Michigan Hockey League plans on promoting its’ players by distributing a monthly broadcast consisting of stats for every player in the league. These stats will be sent out to respective NCAA Division I, II, and III teams, minor league hockey, NHL, and others.
The Michigan Hockey League will begin its inaugural season starting in October of 2017. We hope to bring in some great players from around the world who want to develop their hockey skills and also provide an entertaining and exciting atmosphere for local fans.
The MHL is open to all players from Europe to North America.
